HwU with variable bin width

Dear experts

is there an easy way to book HwU histograms with variable bin width ?
If it is not yet foreseen, would it be enough to change the few lines in HwU_book ?

Dear Hannes,

It has not been foreseen to have variable bin widths in HwU.
The easiest workaround is to choose a very small bin width and combine the bins "by hand" after the runs. The only thing you might be missing in that way is that the statistical error quoted might be an overestimate in NLO fixed-order since the correlations between real-emission and subtraction terms are not taken into account.
Alternatively, one can book a separate histogram for each bin and combine those into single histograms -- in that way correlations will be correctly taken into account.
