How to set 4FL and 5FL scenarios for z+bb predictions?

Asked by Sara

To calculate z+bb prediction, I want to compare 4FL and 5FL scenarios at NLO.
In the madgraph I defined:
4FL:
import model loop_sm (means nf=4)
generate p p > l+ l- b~ b [QCD]
where
p = g u c d s u~ c~ d~ s~
l+ = e+ mu+
l- = e- mu-
lhapdf:4FL

5FL:
import model loop_sm-no_b_mass (means nf=5)
generate p p > l+ l- j [QCD] where
p = u c s d b u~ c~ s~ d~ b~ g
j = u c s d b u~ c~ s~ d~ b~ g
lhapdf:5FL

Are both the settings correct?
Best,
Sara

Yes your two syntax are correct and in the flavour scheme that you claim.
Now I have never perform such type of comparison so I do not claim that compare those two proccesses is enough/the correct things to do.

Cheers,

Olivier
