Empty "parton_systematics.log" from running systematics

Asked by Qiji Xin

Dear Olivier or whomever concerned,

I am using MadGraph to calculate fixed target scattering between a neutrino and a neutron at rest and got a problem when calculating the systematics.
The problem is that I got empty "parton_systematics.log" for some energies while all the other results look fine.
By saying "all the other results look fine" I mean: 1) I didn't get any error message or relevant warning message 2) the files log_sys_0.txt, log_sys_1.txt, log_sys_2.txt, log_sys_3.txt look fine 3) For all the energies/runs, I got the combined systematics results in the prompt message on the screen from running my Madgraph script.

I think the files log_sys_0.txt, log_sys_1.txt, log_sys_2.txt, log_sys_3.txt are the results of my different CPUs? If so, It seems that for some energies the parallelizations were combined (because I got the results in the prompt message) but not dumped into "parton_systematics.log"?

I'll attach the relevant files in the email.

Thank you very much for your help!

Attached are some relevant files that probably help to find out what caused the problem.

+) the DadGraph script that I use.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/6di5zpdb2vgvz48/script_vpTOlW_MGforum?dl=0
+) results of the prompt message from running the script
https://www.dropbox.com/s/wbelp5g3hyv316d/prompt_message.txt?dl=0
+) the results of one run that has the problem.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/kioy6gf6789lbu9/run_03.zip?dl=0
(You can click download on the top left of the dropbox page.)

The run I send is for 6e3 GeV. However, I found that if I run this energy separately, I will get a "parton_systematics.log" that is not empty and has the correct results I need. So this might be a bug when combining the parallelizations?

Let me know if you need more information.

Thank you very much!
