error during mad graph launch

When launching event e+ e- > mu- mu+ or any other process, an error message is displayed as following:

Error detected in "generate_events run_01"
write debug file /Users/nickoosadeghi/Desktop/PROC_sm_2/run_01_tag_1_debug.log

str : A compilation Error occurs when trying to compile /Users/nickoosadeghi/Desktop/PROC_sm_2/Source.
 The compilation fails with the following output message:
     /bin/sh: /usr/local/bin/gfortran: Bad CPU type in executable
     gfortran -w -fPIC -O -ffixed-line-length-132 -c -o StringCast.o StringCast.f
     make: gfortran: Bad CPU type in executable
     gfortran -w -fPIC -O -ffixed-line-length-132 -c -o ranmar.o ranmar.f
     make: gfortran: Bad CPU type in executable
     gfortran -w -fPIC -O -ffixed-line-length-132 -c -o alfas_functions.o alfas_functions.f
     make: gfortran: Bad CPU type in executable
     make: *** [StringCast.o] Error 1
     make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....
     make: *** [ranmar.o] Error 1
     make: *** [alfas_functions.o] Error 1

 Please try to fix this compilations issue and retry.

Hi,

This has nothing to do with MG5aMC so our expertise is limited.
The issue is (something like) that you installed gfortran from binary but that the binary that you installed on your system does not support your type of cpu (i.e. the instruction of the executable are not compatible with your cpu).

So my suggestion would be to re-install gfortan (and do not use the same binary)
