How to skip zipping Pythia files?

Asked by Saiyad Ashanujjaman

After the Pythia output file (something.hepmc) is created, the same is zipped. This zipping seems to fetch a substantial amount of time.

The 'autoremove' option in the Pythia card simply deletes the hepmc file. Is there a way to skip the zipping and keep the unzipped hepmc file?

P.S.: I want to keep the unzipped hepmc file without running Delphes instantly after the Pythia8 run.

Update: Following your suggestion in https://answers.launchpad.net/mg5amcnlo/+question/697474, I am able to skip the compression of Pythia8 output file.

Thanks,
