Exception : Reported error: End code 2.0

Asked by Shankha Banerjee

Dear experts,

While running the following process with either the default SM model as well as my UFO model. I am getting a runtime error. However, it completed running with the default HEFT model. I am working on the lxplux machine.

import model sm
define l = l+ l- ta+ ta-
define v = vl vl~
import model sm
generate p p > t t~ z z ALL=99, (t > b w+, w+ > l v), (t~ > b~ w-, w- > l v), (z > b b~), (z > l l)
output trial_sm_decay

Any help will be great. Thank you very much.

Cheers,

Shankha.

So it seems that you have two different error here:

1) concerning:
Enter number of events and max and min iterations:
 At line 244 of file driver.f (unit = 5, file = 'stdin')
Fortran runtime error: Bad integer for item 1 in list input

It seems that the file SubProcesses/P1_qq_ttxzz_t_bwp_wp_lvl_tx_bxwm_wm_lvl_z_bbx_z_taptam/G30.19652/input_app.txt
is not correctly written in your system.
By running the same process on my laptop, I got the following file:
[P1_qq_ttxzz_t_bwp_wp_lvl_tx_bxwm_wm_lvl_z_bbx_z_taptam]$ cat G30.19652/input_app.txt
1000 5 3 !Number of events and max and min iterations
  0.1 !Accuracy
  2 !Grid Adjustment 0=none, 2=adjust
  1 !Suppress Amplitude 1=yes
  0 !Helicity Sum/event 0=exact
        30.19652

and no issue. what is the content of that file in your case (if that file even exists).
If the file exists and has the above content, then you likely in front of a huge latency of the cluster on which we can not really help.

2) concerning:
Program received signal SIGSEGV: Segmentation fault - invalid memory reference.
I have put all compilation flag to their maximum and I do not reproduce any segfault issue with the latest long term stable version (2.9.x).
So either that particular issue has been solved between 2.8x that you used and 2.9.x. Or this is quite specific to the compiler that you use on lxplus (and therefore I would suggest to try with a different compiler)

Cheers,

Olivier

Hi Olivier,

Thanks for replying.

1) I indeed have the same as you in the input_app.txt file.

2) I just downloaded 3.1.1. I will try to see if this solves my issues. Or should I try with 2.9.x?

I will also try this on the IPPP machine.

Cheers,

Shankha.

3.1.1 should be ok

Can you help with this problem?
