Feynman diagrams not accessible

Asked by Harshal Kulkarni

Hi,
I am unable to access/see the Feynman diagrams generated for a particular process. I went to /HTML/info and then clicked on the html file under the heading "Feynman diagrams", however I am getting the message - "Your file could not be accessed, it may have been moved, edited or deleted". What is the reason for this, and how can I ensure that I can access the generated Feynman diagrams?
Also, is it possible to set a particular coupling, the 3 Higgs (hhh) coupling say, to zero? How can this be done using the mg5 interface?

Thanks,
Harshal

Hi,

Likely the reason is that you miss the gs exectuable which convert the .eps file to .jepg format (since eps are not html compatible).
The easiest to show the diagrams is then to use the command
"display diagrams"

If the UFO model that you are using allows that via the param_card yes otherwise no.
In general, you can not turn off a single coupling since it will break a lot of symmetry and/or property of the model.
So if the model that you use does not allow it, the best is to create your own.
Another solution is to remove the associate diagram.

When playing with that, you have to check that you do not break gauge and lorentz invariance obviously (since this can happens very easiliy).

Cheers,

Olivier

Thanks. Can you elaborate a little more on what removing the associated diagram exactly mean, how does it work?

Thanks Olivier Mattelaer, that solved my question.
