IndexError with simple new model

Asked by Michele Tammaro

Hi,

I am implementing with FeynRules a simple model with a new scalar particle S (with mass ~1 TeV) that has two interactions, SGG with the gluons and Shh with the Higgs. I try to compute the process p p > S > h h and the computation goes on for few minutes, then right at the end I get an IndexError. I tried to compute the process S > hh or p p > S separately and it goes smoothly, so I do not think it is a model problem. I am assuming it is something in the run_card but I am a newbie and I cannot see anything wrong.

Here is the debug.log file. Thank you very much.

Michele

Looks like the width of the particle is zero, which means you have a singularity in your computation.
I would suggest to edit the model to allowed a non zero width and the compute that width at LO, this should fix that issue.

Cheers,

Olivier
