MadGraph5_aMC@NLO

folding parameters

Hi,

I know the default folding parameters for Madgraph are {1,1,1}. I want to change the folding parameters for comparison of my plots. So, my question is how can I change those folding parameters and where these folding parameters are implemented in Madgraph so that I can change them?

Dear Soumyadip,

The folding is not yet part of the main code.

There is a development branch that you might try out in case you really want to use it now. It's the lp:~maddevelopers/mg5amcnlo/PY8meetsMG5aMC_release branch -- make sure to set the MCatNLO_DELTA parameter in the run_card to FALSE before starting any runs.

Hi Rikkert,

Thanks for your reply. Just a naive question "MCatNLO_DELTA parameter" is for reducing negative weight i guess. I have tried once running it with "TRUE" in the run_card but it failed. Is this still in the development process ?

Yes, the whole branch is still in development process and should not be considered final.
