Doubt about "ickkw" keyword

Asked by Songshaptak De on 2020-07-16

Hi,

When I am using Cambridge-Aachen (CA) algorithm for jet-clustering in Pythia, what value of "ickkw" will I set for the matching of jets between MadEvent and Pythia ?

Thanks in advance!

If you want to use a MLM matching algorithm then it should be one.
If you want to use a CKKW-L matching then it should be 0.
(and we do not support CKKW, but note that many person speaks about CKKW even if they actually use CKKW-L)

Cheers,

In the link: https://cp3.irmp.ucl.ac.be/projects/madgraph/wiki/Matching , it suggest MLM matching can be done with cone jets and kT jets. I just want to clarify one thing - does kT jets imply jets clustered with either kT, anti-kT or C/A algorithm ?

kT jet is kt jet.

Now nothing prevent you to use C/A with MLM.
