RuntimeError : Info file not found for PDF set 'NNPDF23_lo_as_0130_qed'

Never seen that before.
Sounds an issue with the configuration of lhapdf?
So my first suggestion would be to re-install only lhapdf (already less tedious).

Is it really the reboot the issue, or opening another terminal leads to the same impact?
If that's the case, you should check environment variable (even if our installation procedure does not touch to the environment in principle). If opening another shell does not lead to problem, then this means that your reboot is removing configuration file and in that case I would worry about the integrity of your system (like ransomware running in background)

i tried re-installing lhapdf6 with the install command
outcome still the same error

is there a more stable mg5 version. this is the latest version, i tried to reinstall mg5,
installed pythia
installed delphes

and ran a simple generate p p > t t~ test,

and errors are still popping out

My only guess is described above, something related with environment variables.
Do you have another version of lhapdf set globablly? or within your PYTHONPATH?
So please check the value of all LHAPDF related environment variable
(This would not explain why a re-install of MG5aMC help)

i tried to download the older version 6.7

i installed lhapdf with install command

no errors but i got this message

Ok then the issue is with lhapdf database where some file are corrupted.
Since their authors are against auto-download, they do not really support their own API for doing that.
We have therefore implemented some work around but looks like they have succeed to stop us one more time.
Please download the pdf set by hand and it should work.
