NLO gridpack systematics

Hi,

I have a quick question regarding systematics (both form the python module and "on-the-fly") -- can we change run_card settings regarding scale and pdf variations after gridpacks have been generated or are there any potential issues?

Hi,

You certainly can not change the central scale/pdf used for the computation. All the other scale/PDF which are used by PDF can technically be changed without any issue. However for the python module, it is saver to not edit the run_card and just changed the options passed to that module.

For the on the fly code, this will only works if you do recompile the code, this might not done by default for NLO gridpack obviously.
