MadGraph5_aMC@NLO

delphes installation

hi, ive already installed delphes & pythia 8 using mg5 with 'install delphes'
but everytime i close and reopen mg5 it asks me to 'install delphes manual' though i have already delphes file in my mg5 directory
what may be the cause of this?

Hi,

Either this is due to a compilation error on the Delphes side, or a configuration file on read-only.

hi things worked out after i install delphes first then pythia,

i was wondering if mg5 has a fuller manual version like madAnalysis have,
i only found simple FAQ examples which is not helping much,
example, how to turn delphes ON syntax in the .txt file

Hi,

Ah yeah makes sense, since you can not run Delphes on MG5aMC output, you will never succeed to set it to ON, if a shower program is not available.

For the more manual entry the help command within our code is our manual.
(The code is the manual which allow to always have the most updated manual for your version of the code)
