madspin two decay paths

Asked by Pim Verschuuren on 2020-06-10

Dear experts,

I have the following process within madgraph:

generate p p > t t~, (t > w+ b, w+ > l+ vl), (t~ > w- b~, w- > j j)
add process p p > t t~, (t > w+ b, w+ > j j), (t~ > w- b~, w- > l- vl~)

Now for several reasons I have to apply the same decay but then with madspin. Is this possible and if so, what is the madspin lines for this? I tried the following but it didn't give the same results as the above:

process_card:
generate p p > t t~

madspin_card:
decay t > w+ b, w+ > j j, t~ > w- b~, w- > l- vl~
decay t > w+ b, w+ > l+ vl, t~ > w- b~, w- > j j

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Pim

Hi,

No this is not possible with madspin without having two separate generation.

Cheers,

Olivier
