Warning in importing triple gluon vertex model file

Asked by Prasham Jain

Hello,

The following warning is shown when I import my model file:

"CRITICAL: Model with non QCD emission of gluon (found 1 of those).
This type of model is not fully supported within MG5aMC.
Restriction on LO dynamical scale and MLM matching/merging can occur for some processes.
  Use such features with care."

The new physics vertex is a triple gluon vertex under SMEFT. Even though the warning shows at the time of import, I am still able to use the model seemingly fine. Should I be concerned about this warning? Is so, how can I resolve it?

Thanks in advance,
Prasham

It means that our side we have block all features that we know are not working with this type of model.
The other features are allowed but not fully validated (in particular everything related to the color can be wrong like the LC information given to the parton-shower).

Please put pressure on the model authors to validate such computations. I would have personally have reject completly such model to run in MG5aMC.

Cheers,

Olivier
