Defining two decay chains
Asked by
Pim Verschuuren
Hi all,
I am trying to generate a top quark pair that decays semi-hadronically i.e. where both top quarks decay into a W-boson and a b-quark but only one of those W decays into two quarks and the other into a lepton and its corresponding neutrino.
Basically I want to define a process where either one of the following decay chain is chosen:
generate p p > t t~, (t > W+ b, W+ > l+ vl), (t~ > W- b~, W- > j j)
generate p p > t t~, (t > W+ b, W+ > j j), (t~ > W- b~, W- > l- vl~)
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Pim
