Write path of parameter card

Asked by Aya Ismail Hosny Beshr

Hi,

I have imported a model in MG5 called B-LSSM model and I have generated a certain process. At the launch step I need to use the parameter card of the new model. What is the correct syntax for identifying the path of the param_card.dat in the interactive session of MG5?

Thank you in advance abd appreciate your time!

Best Regards,
Aya

It can be absolute or relative path.
following standard UNIX convention.

If you are on windows. The path format might need to follow unix convention (if you use the linux sub-kernel).
If you are not using the linux-sub kernel on windows, then you might need to input DOS type path. (But we have never tested our code in such configuration and we strongly advise to run a unix virtual machine if you are on windows --better to do a dual boot actually--)

Cheers,

Olivier

I am working on linux (ubuntu 18.04). I tried to identify the path for param_card as usual but it is giving an error as if the syntax I wrote is wrong or madgraph can't reach the file.

Hi,

Could you copy-paste the content of what you see on your screen?
