SUSY run ends with run_PY8.sh 2 launch ends with non zero status: 134

Hello,

I am running MG5 with simple MLM matching for chargino-neutralino production with one jet. At the end, I receive the following message:

Exception : program /Users/desai/Code/MG5/bin/x1-n1/Events/run_01/PY8_parallelization/run_PY8.sh 2 launch ends with non zero status: 134. Stop all computation

As far as I can tell, all Pythia jobs were killed because an empty HepMC file was created at the end.
 => Pythia8 shower jobs: 0 Idle, 0 Running, 8 Done [24 seconds]

I checked that the default param card works without problems. So this is likely due to something else.

I am reproducing an experimental analysis and using the SLHA card they publish so presumably they have used the same one to generate actual MC events. Other than the obvious interruption before finishing all events, I haven't found anything unusual in any of the split_?/PY8_log.txt files--no errors and only information warnings. I have no idea where else to look.

Hi,

Sorry for the long waiting time, I was not working for a while.
Your param_card seems fine except the weird format for entry #2 of the following block

BLOCK SPINFO # program information
      1 isasugra from isajet # spectrum calculator
      2 7.80 29-oct-2009 12:50:36 # version number

This might the reason of PY8 crashing or it can be fine...
If you look in the directory /Users/desai/Code/MG5/bin/x1-n1/Events/run_01/PY8_parallelization/
you might have some more detailled log with the information which leads to py8 to crash (and then an hint on how to fix that).

Now a second possible issue is the SLHA1 version SLHA2 format of the card but this would be more surprising.
