Generate Identical Events in MG5@NLO

I'm wondering how to generate two identical sets of .lhe type events. I've already tried using the same iseed for two generations but that didn't work. Is there a way to do this?

On the latest version of MG5aMC, it should be the case.
For the older version, it depends of the actual version that you are using.

If you version is not too old.
you can add in the run_card a parameter
python_seed which is the seed controlling the randomness that you observe.
