VBF dihiggs production in MadGraph

Asked by SOUMYA MUKHERJEE

Dear Madgraph Experts

I want to generate VBF dihiggs process in MadGraph. For that I write a code which was
generate p p > h h j j QED<=4 QCD<=0 HIG<=0 HIW<=0. Is it a correct process to produce VBF dihiggs mechanism.
Actually what I need two vector boson suppose two Zs, fuse two one higgs and then one higgs decay into two higgs. But I can't understand how to specify this process in madgraph.

Yours Sincerely,
Soumya Mukherjee

Hi,

This sounds ok.
Please you at the Feynman diagram to check if this is what you want.
(one way to generate those is via the command display diagrams)

Cheers,

Olivier

But in VBF process one higgs should decay to two higgs but in the MadGraph generated data h > h h result is not found at all. So is there any other process where I shall be able to decay h in another two higgs.

What do you mean by "generate data"?
Do you mean that you do not see the Feynman diagram?
or that you do not see that topology when you read the lhe event (which is perfectly normal)?

Cheers,

Olivier
