Hi,

This I have strictly no clue what can cause this.

The error occurs very late and this means that the exact same executable was at least successfully run once (but with a different seed). Additionally, the code is still expected to write that file even when a crash occurs.

My best bet would be something like quota issue (i.e. that you are not allowed to write anymore)
The second bet (however low probability) is a filesystem latency (in which case the file /net/home/lxtsfs1/tpe/angkinun/MG5_aMC_v2_6_4/test1/SubProcesses/P1_qq_ttx/G1a0/results.dat should exists now)

Cheers,

Olivier

Thank you for your reply. I have one more issue on madspin. When I launched my process with madspin I got this message:

Command "generate_events run_02" interrupted with error:
OSError : [Errno 39] Directory not empty: '/net/home/lxtsfs1/tpe/angkinun/MG5_aMC_v2_6_4/test3/production_me/SubProcesses/P1_gg_ttx'
Please report this bug on https://bugs.launchpad.net/mg5amcnlo
More information is found in '/net/home/lxtsfs1/tpe/angkinun/MG5_aMC_v2_6_4/test3/run_02_tag_1_debug.log'.
Please attach this file to your report.

Do you have a solution for it.

So you might indeed have filesystem issue here...
Since your filesystem fails to perform this standard operation (or you do not have the right to remove some of the file within that directory). The other option is that this is a python bug (for some filesystem).

The only options is likely to either to do multiple run in the same directory...
or to remove those directory in advance (You should have three directories to remove).
A third option is to tell madspin to reuse the directory already existing (only if you keep the same decay obviously)
via the option "set ms_dir PATH"

Cheers,

Olivier

PS: You might consider to run on another filesystem on your machine. For my information, which type of filesystem is it and how is it mounted?

Can you help with this problem?
