Hi,

We will release soon (probably today) 2.6.4 which will handle MacOs Mojave.

Cheers,

Olivier

Hello,

I updated the new mg5 (2.6.4) but the problem cannot be solved. What should I do now? Thanks!

Hi,

Did you regenerate the output directory? (you should)

If you open the file OUTPUT_DIRECTORY/Source/make_opts

You should see a like
MACFLAG=

In principle for Mojave you should see:
MACFLAG=-mmacosx-version-min=10.8
If you still have the same error as before you should have
MACFLAG=-mmacosx-version-min=10.7

you can actually edit this line to
MACFLAG=
to have the code to compile (but it will not work with lhapdf who requires that flag)

Cheers,

Olivier

Hello,

Thank you for your help and patience, but it still doesn't work.

This is what appears in make_opt:

DEFAULT_CPP_COMPILER=clang
DEFAULT_F2PY_COMPILER=f2py
DEFAULT_F_COMPILER=gfortran
MACFLAG=-mmacosx-version-min=10.8

I changed "MACFLAG=-mmacosx-version-min=10.8" to "MACFLAG="

Still, it won't work and similar error jumps out again.

Is there anything else I need to look at?

Thank you again !

Then you are likely have issue with xcode.

Can you run:
xcode-select --install

If this is not enough, you will need to install the command line tools associated to xcode

Cheers,

Olivier
