Asked by Christina Karagianni

Hello!

when I try to display the diagrams of any generated process this error appears..

MG5_aMC>display diagrams
Drawing Process: t > b e+ ve @1
Wrote file /tmp/diagrams_1_t_bepve.eps
open /tmp/diagrams_1_t_bepve.eps
Not able to open file /tmp/diagrams_1_t_bepve.eps since no program configured.Please set one in ./input/mg5_configuration.txt
time to draw 0.0791499614716

What should I do exactly?

Thanks!

Hi,

you can specify which program you want to use to open eps file
in
input/mg5_configuration.txr

you can replace the line

#! Prefered PS viewer
#! If None: try to find one available on the system
# eps_viewer = None

by

#! Prefered PS viewer
#! If None: try to find one available on the system
eps_viewer = PATH_TO_EXECUTABLE

where you replace PATH_TO_EXECUTABLE to what fit your machine.

Cheers,

Olivier

You have to pass the path to an executable which can open eps file.
(like gv, epsviewer,...)
You do not have any of standard one in your $PATH, so you have to tell us how to open such file on your machine

Olivier
