Problem in installing pythia

Hello!

I am Cristina. I am using fedora28 and I downloaded madgraph (v2.5.5). When I am trying to install pythia I get the following errors.

Dear Christina,

1) Our latest version is 2.6.3.2. If you start with madgraph please use that one.
2) pythia-pgs package is not supported anymore. It is likely that your compiler is too recent to compile such old code.
3) For pythia8, it fails when trying to get the source for the boost library.
My advise, would then that you install lhapdf6 by hand (the latest version of lhapdf6 does not require boost anymore actually)
and then retry to install pythia8.

The error that you face seems to be a problem within the rederiction to a mirror of the sourceforge website. It is likely related to your country. Nothing that I can do here to prevent that (for me it is working fine).
