The weight of NLO QCD events After Delphes

Asked by Jianwen Zhu on 2018-08-18

Hi
I notice that the parton level NLO QCD events are weighed, some events have negative weights. However, when analyze the .lhco file produced by parton shower and Delphes at NLO, I can not find the information about weight of each event. So if I want to plot some distributions by this .lhco file, should I regard them as unweighted events? Or how should I do?

I do not think that nlo format support weight in sample therefore such format is incompatible with nlo sample and also does not support a lot of lo feature. This format should be dropped

Cheers
