altering couplings for a C2HDM process involving fermions

Asked by Samuel Barson

Hello,

I am currently trying to scale the coupling equations for 2HDM process (u u~ >h1 and d d~ > h1) so that they can be applied to a composite 2HDM model, but upon introducing a scale factor eg 100 there seems to be no difference in the calculated cross section. I was wondering if it is possible/ how to scale a coupling equation from couplings.py to achieve a new and accurate cross section for the process?

Thanks,

Sam

Hi,

Yes adding a factor "100" in couplings.py should work.
You should obviously re-generated the process directory after having modified the model.
A nicer way is to define a new parameter in parameters.py such that you can define the value in the param_card.dat

Cheers,

Olivier
