#pdf line in the LHE output format

Asked by Sanghyun Ko

Dear. Madgraph authors,

Hi, I have a short question on the format of Madgraph output LHE files. As far as I know, there is an optional line in the LHE format starting with #pdf, which contains the ID of partons, Bjorken x, scale and PDF values (https://arxiv.org/abs/hep-ph/0609017).

e.g. #pdf id1 id2 x1 x2 scalePDF xpdf1 xpdf2

Is there any option or configuration in Madgraph to turn on the #pdf line in the output LHE files?

Thanks,

Sanghyun.

no,

But if you set use_syst=T (for LO, equivalent syntax does also exists for NLO).
then that information is written but in a different format (which cover more complex case like MLM)

Cheers,

Olivier
