How to check whether the code written in dummy_tct.f is executed or not ?

Asked by Songshaptak De on 2018-06-19

Hi,
I have modified the file 'dummy_tct.f' to incorporate some cuts of my own. How to see whether the cuts have been imposed or not ?

I would see three ways

1) compare the cross-section with and without those modifications
2) compare distribution with and without those modifications
3) add a print statement (not in production obviously) and then check the log file of one of the
SubProcesses/PXXXXXXXXX/G1/*.log
to see if you see such print statement.

Note that you do not want to put the print statement when you reject events in principle,
since you might never reject events due to other cuts/...

Cheers,

Olivier
