Fixed order output file

Dear Experts
on the process calculating Fixed order NLO , in the run_card.dat file have some parameter,
  10000000 = nevents ! Number of unweighted events requested
  -1 = req_acc ! Required accuracy (-1=auto determined from nevents)
  -1 = nevt_job ! Max number of events per job in event generation.
                 ! (-1= no split).

  3000000 = npoints_fo_grid ! number of points to setup grids
  10 = niters_fo_grid ! number of iter. to setup grids
  6000000 = npoints_fo ! number of points to compute Xsec
  15 = niters_fo ! number of iter. to compute Xsec
finished this calculation , there appear large size of the output file(120G) , Is there a way to not output this fileļ¼Ÿ
another native question , what is the difference between req_acc=-1 or req_acc=0.001 ?

Hi,

Since you are doing fixed_order NLO, you are not using the following entry of the run_card:
 10000000 = nevents ! Number of unweighted events requested
  -1 = req_acc ! Required accuracy (-1=auto determined from nevents)
  -1 = nevt_job ! Max number of events per job in event generation.
                 ! (-1= no split).

This being said, I only see one way to have a huge output file in fixed order NLO is that you request to generate lhe events.
So if you do not ask to generate events (which is the default mode) you should not have such huge file.
If this is not the lhe file which is that large please tell me which file and I will investigate.

 the name of this output file is fort.11111 . the location of this file is on /SubProcesses/P0_gg_ttx/all_G*

Hi,

I have checked with the latest version of the code and do not see any file with that name created (or any temporary file which might have different path depending of the system)

Did you change any other parameters? (like the running analysis?)
