Hi,

It's depend of what you are doing (LO/NLO/ gridpack not gridpack, ...)
and when the crash occur.
In most of the case, nothing is available and when it is I would avoid to use them as much as possible. (A clean job is safer)

Cheers,

Olivier

Dear Olivier,

Thanks for the reply!
The generating process is LO p p > b b~ j j + p p > b b~ j j j for 10^6 events. Its almost finished, it finished the main IDLE, and goes on refine IDLE,... and it stopped. For it already takes more than 300 hrs to run, I wish to know are there some way to resume it. Thanks!

Best,
Justine

Hi,

For such huge generation, you should consider to either use the multi_run command (which breaks the N^2 dependence)
Or use the gridpack mode.

Now you can try to run in "advance mode"
via the ./bin/madevent
you can run the "refine NEVENTS" command
after that you can run the following command
combine_events
store_events

Cheers,

Olivier
