Using MG5 to generate events with EW loop

Asked by Zirui Wang

Dear experts,

I'm new with MG5, and I want to generate some samples corresponding to the process h>f+f+gamma for my analysis.
Looking through several tutorials, though, I didn't find the way to handle the EW loop in MG5.
Could anyone point out the model, and the syntax I can use to generate h>f+f+gamma with EW one-loop? (like Higgs -> muon+ muon- gamma)
I uploaded several example diagrams to https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B5qg6stoWrwHeUtLQWg0N0YxaFU
Thanks in advance!

Best,
Zirui

Dear Zirui,

We actually support EW loop but we are not (yet) able to handle NLO computation in EW.
On the other hand, we can handle loop-induced processes: see arXiv:1507.00020<http://arXiv.org/abs/arXiv:1507.00020>

However by looking at your Feynman diagram, you do want to consider the born diagram where the Higgs is allowed to couple directly to the lepton.
In that context, including the EW loop requires to also include the real contribution (and all the associated infinities) that we can not handle right now.
If you were not allowing the Higgs to couple directly to the fermion, then the computation should be possible with the implementation discussed in the sus mentioned paper.

Cheers,

Olivier
