Installation of pythia

Recently I wanted to install pythia8 in my MG5 but got the following problem:

Hi William,

sorry to hear that you're having issues with the compilation. I don't fully understand why this happens, but it appears to be an issue with the linker. For some reason, it seems that the generation command for object files includes a "-ldl" flag -- which should not be there at that stage. This might be causing the subsequent issues.

Thus, my first suggestion would be to look into the Makefile.inc file in the pythia source directory and check if the CXX_COMMON variable contains -ldl. If so, remove this and try to recompile in this directory by typing make.

Other than this, I can't give any sensible advise at the moment. Maybe it would be helpful if you post the installation log and the Makefile.inc files to understand the issue better.
