MadGraph5_aMC@NLO

failed to connect server

I am using new version of madrapg-2.5.4. It cannot connect to the server. I am using no proxy connection. It showing "failed to connect server".
If I am using server with some proxy and port with username and passwd, then also problem in installation pythia8, lhpdf....
It showing:

"MadGraph5Error : The option 'HepToolsInstaller_web_address' must be specified in function advanced_install if the installers are not already downloaded."

Could you please solve at least one of them.

Hi,

I know that the Belgian IT team was working on some machine this week-end and therefore I expect potential problem for ~1 week.
On the other hand our US server should be stable and take automatically the charge in case of problem with the Belgian server.

I have actually just tested to install pythia8 on my machine and it work nice from both server.

So nothing that I can do from my side.

Hi Olivier,
The main problem was my password. I was using a special character. That is the biggest culprit.
Now I have solved it.
