How does a HT cut in MadGraph run_card work when MadSpin is used?

Hello,

I am looking at someones pp->ttbar sample and I am trying to understand the order in which things occurred when the following were present:

- A HT cut in the run_card.dat [eg 600 = htjmin ! minimum jet HT=Sum(jet pt) ]
- MadSpin handling the decay of a top quark

Is the ht cut applied before or after MadSpin handles the decay of the top quarks?
(ie will the ht cut include info about particles coming from the top quarks or not?)
