Modify the model without editing the model files

Asked by Francesco

Hi everybody.
I have a model (SM + BSM) where the BSM involves only d quarks. This model is very complicated and there are something like 50 vertices. I perfectly managed to simulate the processes and to compare the result with analytical results.

Now, I would like to use the same vertices for u quarks without modifying the model files. In summary, I want to generate processes with both u and d quarks both interacting with the BSM vertices. Is it possibile? Since there are many BSM vertices, it is very unpleasant to modify the model files, I hope there is a quicker way to do that inside madgraph, maybe redefining the u quarks in such way that madgraph does not mix the inferences SM/BSM between u and d quarks...

Thanks,
F

Hi,

I do not see how you can do that in a easy way.

Sorry,

Olivier
