problems with user processes limits

Hi,
I have used Madgraph on lxplus with no problem.
I am now trying to use it on another server and I get problems due to different limits on the
the number of "max user processes".
On lxplus this value is 1024 while on the other server is 100.
If I set the max user processes=1000 on the other server than I am able to tun madgraph with no problems.
Why madgraph needs such a high number for "max user processes"?
At the moment I have tried generating 10000 events for p p > t t~.
