Is Madonia functionality still included in Madgraph?

Asked by Jan Hajer

Hi,

I want to generate NRQCD processes, I try to follow:
https://cp3.irmp.ucl.ac.be/projects/madgraph/wiki/MadOniaManual
But I am not sure where to start.
Do i have to load a specific model file?
Should I generate the process in the ./bin/mg5_NLO terminal?
In MG5: How do I generate an template folder structure without specifying the process first, in order to edit the proc_card.dat.
Right now the bracket of eg. pp>jcc~[3P12to445] is not recognized.

Best,
Jan

Hi Jan,

MadOnia was never ported to either Madgraph5 or MadGraph5_aMC@NLO.
If you want to use it you will need to use MadGraph4.
I assign this question to Pierre Artoisenet (the original author of MadOnia) in case he wants to add some more comments.

Cheers,

Olivier

Thanks,

it seems to work with MadGraph4.

Now I am trying to enforce a specific subdominant decay channel for the Meson state.
Can I do that in Madgraph, or do I have to rely on pythia for the decays?

Best,
Jan

Hi Jan,

I would confess that I have no knowledge on the capabilities of Madonia, I would suggest that you contact directly by email the authors of the associated tools.

Cheers,

Olivier
