Transposed spinors and charge conjugation

Asked by Khaled Teilab

Hello,

I would like to study a process in which two fermions elastically scatter via an intermediate state (of fermion number 2) in the S-Channel.
The corresponding lagrangian includes terms like $\psi^T C \gamma^\5 \Phi \psi$ and the corresponding hermitian conjugates
where
\psi^T is a transposed spinor,
\Phi is a scalar
and
C is the matrix of charge conjugation.

The question is: Can I use MadGraph to calculate such a process (lagrangian) using transposed spinors? and if yes, how do I proceed?

Cheers,
Khaled

Dear Khaled,

You can use FeynRules to convert your Lagrangian in a model compatible with MG.

You can find a FeynRules and MadGraph tutorial here:
https://cp3.irmp.ucl.ac.be/projects/madgraph/wiki/Lund2014

for more details, I should refer you either to the FR author or to their paper/manual.

Cheers,

Olivier
