VLQ model not working in v2.2.1

Asked by Cristina Oropeza on 2014-10-11

Dear Madgraph authors,

We are doing a study on top partners using the VLQ_UFO model from http://feynrules.irmp.ucl.ac.be/wiki/VLQ.
Everything was working just fine while we were using MG5 version 2.1.2. However, since we wanted to use LHAPDF6, we migrated to the newest MG5 version, 2.2.1 and, unfortunately, things stopped working for our model.

The error thrown by Madgraph is this one:

Error detected in "generate_events run_01"
write debug file /Users/cristinaob/Documents/TopPartners/MG5_aMC_v2_2_1/TEST/run_01_tag_1_debug.log

Please try to fix this compilations issue and retry.
Help might be found at https://answers.launchpad.net/madgraph5.
If you think that this is a bug, you can report this at https://bugs.launchpad.net/madgraph5

It seems to be a compilation problem related to the introduction of a new routine (update_as_param2) in the couplings.f file, associated to undeclared variables.

Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Kind regards,
