Different results for MadWeight likelihoods in different machines using GRID

Asked by Efe Yazgan

We were using the a batch system for our madweight calculations. Everything was fine but it is not sufficient anymore. So, we decided to use GRID resources. However, we made a few tests and saw that in different sites and in some cases even within the same site we get different likelihoods for the same event. Do you have any idea how can that be? We checked the python, gcc, linux, perl versions and they are all the same. Are there any software versions we should check for each site?

Thanks a lot,
Efe
