Failed to combine events when using LHAPDF, MG5.1.5.14

Dear MG authors

I want to generate t+H in the 4-F scheme with a pdf alternative to cteq6l1, specifically CT10.
I have therefore proceeded to make and install the LHAPDF libraries, etc - the job goes on and the generation goes through the various steps without crashes.

But, at the stage where events should be combined, I am left with this error, and no events are written out:

Fail to read the number of unweighted events in the combine.log file

cat: unweighted_events.lhe: No such file or directory

Am I doing something obviously wrong? is this a known problem?

I am using MG5.1.5.14 and lhapdf-5.9.1.

(it should also be noticed that the xsec indicated at the end of the job is 5 times smaller than the one for cteq6l)

I should add that, when trying with the default cteq6l, all works fine and the job completes successfully.

I would suggest to try the following:

./bin/madevent combine_events
