Final state higgs decay

Asked by teddym

Hi:
I generate a process in model mssm-full using my own parameter card. And there are two higgs h1 in my final states,

p p > b1 b1~, ( b1 > b n2, n2 > n1 h1 ), ( b1~ > b~ n2 , n2 > n1 h1 )

I let one of these decay into b b~, the other decay into two w-bosons and further into three cases as following

 sigma: 0.04594pb for h > w- w+ > j j j j

sigma : 0.0436pb for h > w- w+ > l- l+ vl vl~

sigma : 0.1225pb for h > w- w+ > l- vl~ j j & h > w- w+ > l+ vl j j

I have also calculated the cross section for the higgs h1 does not decay ( still let one decays into b b~ )

sigma(pp > **** h1 h1,h1 > b b~) = 4.128pb

So the cross section for the three cases listed do not in the expectation.

For my own parameters, the mass of h1 is around 125GeV the decay mode is sm-like.

I suppose that you did:
generate p p > b1 b1~, ( b1 > b n2, (n2 > n1 h1, h1 > b b~) ), ( b1~ > b~ n2 , n2 > n1 h1 )
add process p p > b1 b1~, ( b1 > b n2, n2 > n1 h1 ), ( b1~ > b~ n2 , (n2 > n1 h1, h1 > b b~ )

>So the cross section for the three cases listed do not in the expectation.

Did you remove the cut on the final state?
