decays in MSSM param card generator

Asked by Azar Mustafayev

Hello,

I am using the online MSSM param card calculator to create param_card.dat from SLHA2 file and noticed that there are only two options for decays -- SDECAY or zero-width. But my SLHA file already contains decays that are consistently computed from the MSSM spectrum, and in some cases they are different from what SDECAY returns. Why can't decays be copied from SLHA file? Will it be possible to add that option to the online calculator?

And another related question. Can I simply rename an SLHA2 file (with decays) to get param_card.dat ? Those two files seems to have the same information and syntax.

Thank you,
   Azar

Hi,

The main point of that interface is to compute the width. So I'm not sure that what you ask make sense.

If this is an SLHA2 format then they are no problem (at least in principle).

Cheers,

Olivier
