Checking matrix element point-by-point in phase space

Asked by sengpei

I would like to calculate a subprocess and check it point-by-point in phase space using Madgraph. The answer in FAQ (and Question #163027) to this question seems outdated and not useful as I am using Madgraph 5. Could you tell me how to do it?

Thanks!
sengpei

Hi,

The answer/question #163027 is still valid.
But you probably need the sequence of command to generate such output:
launch ./bin/mg5 and run the usual command but replace the output command by
output standalone
(or output standalone_cpp)

In order to change the Phase-Space point, please refer to the question #163027.

Cheers,

Olivier

Hi,

Thanks! I have a related question. As in question #163027, I wish to obtain information about pdf and its integration with matrix elements. I failed to find files such as auto_dsigN.f+matrixN.f. What kind of commands that I need in order to generate such output?
