Survey and Refine absent in MG5?

Asked by Angel

Hi,

I downloaded and installed MadGraph5, the old version of MadGraph has a script Survey to calculate cross sections and another called refine among others, in the bin directory. I havent been able to find the same script in the latest version of MadGraph, is there a similar script that does this?

Thanks.

Hi,

Some of those script have been simply move to bin/internal directory.
but concerning survey and refine. They are accessible via the ./bin/madevent command.
This open a new shell with a lot of possibilities related to the run (type help to see the list of command)
In particular you have the command "survey", "refine" and "multi_run" available from that interface.

Cheers,

Olivier
