Wjj generation

Asked by Inês Ochoa

Hi,

I've tried the generation of Wjj with the following command in aMCatNLO (latest version on the website):
generate p p > e+ ve j j [QCD]

This produces the following error message:

  The process g/u/c/d/s/u~/c~/d~/s~ g/u/c/d/s/u~/c~/d~/s~ > e+ ve g/u/c/d/s/u~/c~/d~/s~ g/u/c/d/s/u~/c~/d~/s~ [ all = QCD ] you attempt to generate
appears to be of challenging difficulty.
It had probably never been tried by the authors and hence we cannot
guarantee a correct behavior of the code in this context. Please visit
http://amcatnlo.cern.ch/list.htm for a list of processes we have
validated. If your process does not appear and you have successfully
studied it with MadGraph5 v2.0, please report it.

However, this process is clearly listed on the website mentioned above as a validated process. Does this message still apply?
I've applied a 7GeV generation cut on the jets on the run card.

Best regards,
Inês

Hi Ines,

Yes you can discard this warning message in this case, since as you said this process was generated explicitly.
You can look at the following paper: arXiv:1110.5502 for more information about this process/validation.

Cheers,

Olivier
