MadWeight : No matching between process information and feynman diagram information

Asked by Brieuc Francois

Hi,

I am trying to obtain weights in the hypothesis p p > z h, z > mu+ mu-, h > b b~ j and I have the following error when I launch "./bin/madweight.py -2 ":

treating P0_qq_zh_z_ll_h_bbxg directory
[-3, -2, 7, 5]
No matching between process information and feynman diagram information

I've checked the ticket here : https://bugs.launchpad.net/madgraph5/+bug/1022986 but it did not help me... I did not change any cards and I tryied to add the few lines Pierre wrote in the ticket at the end of the WadWeight Card.

I install MW with "bzr branch lp:~maddevelopers/madgraph5/madweigh" and the version is " version = 2.0.0.beta1 date = 2012-11-08 ". Here is my proc_Card :

set group_subprocesses Auto
set ignore_six_quark_processes False
set loop_optimized_output True
set gauge unitary
set complex_mass_scheme False
import model sm
define p = g u c d s u~ c~ d~ s~
define j = g u c d s u~ c~ d~ s~
define l+ = e+ mu+
define l- = e- mu-
define vl = ve vm vt
define vl~ = ve~ vm~ vt~
generate p p > z h, z > mu+ mu-, h > b b~ j
output madweight zh_mumubbj

Any suggestion?

Thanks

Hi Brieuc,

Is this urgent?
Pierre is currently in holiday (for a week) and I would prefer discuss this with him before doing any modification in that part of the code.

If this is urgent, I can provide some (ugly) hack of the code in order to make it work.
In that case, I will need to know wich transfer function you are going to use to see if the code will create the correct change of variable for your process.

Also I think that it might be possible to add to MW a specific change of variable for your higgs, which should boost the speed of integration. But this might also take a bit of time.

Cheers,

Olivier

Hi Olivier,

This is not extremely urgent since I have some other work to do which will occupy me for roughly two weeks. However this is very important for the lllb group (UCL) and for my master thesis which should be finished (at least the technical part) at the end of april. I will contact you again when Pierre gets back. Let me know if you have some news.

Best,

Brieuc

Hi Olivier,

Now this is rather urgent. It would be very nice if you could discuss with Pierre how to fix this bug. Thank you in advance.

Best,

Brieuc
