SLURM cluster

Asked by Matthew Low

Hi,

I know there are options to run in cluster mode for [pbs|sge|condor|lsf|ge]. I was wondering if there are a few changes I could make to run in cluster mode using a SLURM cluster?

Thanks!
- Matthew

Hi Matthew,

I just create this FAQ which should have all the information that you need in order to implement the support of SLURM.
Don't hesitate to send your work when this is done. We will be more that happy to put it in the official version such that more
people will be to use it.

If something is not clear in the FAQ don't hesitate to ask clarification here.

Cheers,

Olivier

Hi Olivier,

Thanks for your instructions! I've gotten it running on SLURM. I'm going to do a few more tests then I can send you the code I added to run it on SLURM.

Hi Olivier,
that is a great news for me. Just to clarify, I have to only edit the file "mg5_configuration.txt" inside the input folder.
Will it enough for cluster run ?

Regards,
Shiba

In general it should be enough. Of course this also depends of the exact configuration of your cluster (and basically if you have a default installation or if your IT team
have added some non-default requirement to submit jobs).

Cheers,

Olivier
