MadWeight available in MadGraph5_v1.4.8.4?

Asked by Robert Harrington

Hi,
Is MadWeight available in MadGraph_v1.4.8.4? When I generate my process and try 'output madweight MY_DIR', it doesn't work properly. I get a madweight directory instead of MY_DIR. Typing 'help output' gives the following:

mg5>help output
syntax: output [madevent|standalone|matrix|standalone_cpp|pythia8|aloha] [path|.|auto] [options]

It looks like madweight isn't an option any longer. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for any help!
Robert

Hi Robert,

Madweight is currently maintained on a separate branch:

lp:~maddevelopers/madgraph5/madweight

Is it the one that you loaded from the web ?

Eventually, the plan is to have madweight incorporated in the trunk
version, but this is not done yet.

Cheers,

Pierre
