I have unzipped and untarred madevent.
I saw folders in Subprocess
I have compiled Source folder with make command without problem.
-bash-3.2$ pwd

In the same MadGraph environment the Template works fine and produces LHE files in Events folder.

Hi Andrea,

> In the same MadGraph environment the Template works fine and produces LHE files in Events folder.

Not sure to understand this, could you explain this more in detail?
Do you mean that you can produce events for the SM model?

By looking at your information it looks like that the problem is linked to the model.
Did you use a UFO model? If not could you check that your Fortran compiler use for compiling the Fortran output is the same as the one use to compile the rest of the code. (since this type of error looks like that you use two different compiler)

Cheers,

Olivier

Hi Olivier,

in the same folder I find Template. I read README file and I try to follow the instruction. Everything goes well, and finally I have lhe files so I produce events for the SM model process that is in the example (Template).

I use a seesaw model developed by our theoreticians. They gave the paramaters cards with the following header:
PARAM_CARD AUTOMATICALY GENERATED BY MG5 FOLLOWING UFO MODEL

What can I do to generate lhe files?

Thanks a lot for help,
Andrea

Hi all,

I use command
./bin/change_compiler
before run ./bin/generate_events

Compiler is changed from gfortran to g77.

Now I'm able to run generation events, so the problem is related with fortran compiler as Olivier mentioned in his first answer.
Let's see if finally I will have lhe files...but it is another matter!

Problem solved.

Thanks a lot,
Andrea
